Chef Ron Sabatini is well-rounded in all aspects of food service, with over 35 years of culinary management expertise in hospitals, senior dining, restaurants, and hotels.
Ron is a graduate of Johnson & Wales University with a degree in Science of Culinary Arts. He has held the position of Executive Chef at elite retirement communities, prestigious hospitals, including Penn State College of Medicine, Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, and Geisinger Health System.
Chef Ron is well known for his high energy, cheerful outlook, and inspired management style, which have all led to a long and impressive list of professional and personal accomplishments.
In July 2007, Chef Ron joined DM&A as Executive Success Coach and advanced to Director of Culinary Operations. He has helped many clients become "the best of the best" in all areas. Ron's scope of experience includes, but is certainly not limited to: facility kitchen and room service design work'; cafeteria, retail and catering menu innovations, recipe development and implementation; branded concept development; patient service menu re-design and implementation; disaster planning; HACCP development; Sous Vide & ROP systems, recipes, designs, and licensures; production models of IT software; room service infrastructure; new hospital openings; hood-less kitchen designs; contract management to self operation assistance and conversion; and management and leadership training.
At the inception of Healthcare Culinary, Chef Ron has surrounded himself with industry leaders to assist in strategy and development of many diverse offerings and processes. Healthcare Culinary's leaders have experienced all aspects healthcare food service management and operations, and have the ability to cross segments and take the best from each segment to create a solution that lasts.
